At Quest Therapy Services we love groups - they provide a new way to access therapy and keep children motivated and engaged. New groups pop up from time to time so don’t forget to check back here or if you are interested in something we don’t offer shoot us an email and let us know!

 

Cave Create

This small group art/craft based club provides a relaxed environment for children to grow their creativity, expand motor skills and work on relationship building. It is run by our Occupational Therapist and is a great opportunity for art/craft lovers.

Groups will be offered in Springfield and is open to all children aged 5 - 18 (grouped accordingly).

Secret Agent Society

Helping young people grow their social emotional skills is one of our passion areas. The Secret Agent Society (SAS) is a well known evidenced program that builds the social emotional development of children 8 - 12 years. The program is run in a small group of 3 children to 1 adult and uses both hands on and tech based activities to build skills an foster confidence. Coupled with parent/carer sessions the SAS provides supports to build skills across the home, school and clinical space.

Groups run termly at a location TBC pending group allocations.

9 x 1.5 hour child sessions + 2 x 1.5 hour child follow up sessions
4 x 2 hour parent sessions + 2 x 2 hour parent follow up sessions
Purchase of an SAS kit is required for group participation

Mealtime Explorers

Using SOS approach to feeding methods Mealtime Explorers aims to build your child’s confidence in exploring a range of foods. Using play and working on the philosophy of exploring through the senses Mealtime Explorers encourages young learners, aged between 4 - 14, to build their independence in exploring foods and build positive mealtimes. Parent/caregiver education ensures improvements and success is felt at home.

Sessions run termly with weekly 1.5 hour small group sessions

Lego Club

Age range 5 - 12 years

Our Therapeutic LEGO® Club uses LEGO® Therapy principles to support children in developing social, communication, and teamwork skills through structured, play-based activities. Guided by allied health professionals, children work together in small groups to complete collaborative LEGO® builds while practicing important real-world skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Participants are encouraged to develop turn-taking, listening, problem-solving, flexible thinking, emotional regulation, and cooperative play skills as they take on different roles within the group. Sessions are designed to build confidence, encourage positive peer interactions, and support children to develop meaningful social connections with others who share similar interests.

Therapeutic LEGO® Club is ideal for children who enjoy building and creating, while benefiting from additional support to strengthen social interaction, communication, and emotional development skills.

Minecraft Club

Age Range 5 - 12 years

Our Therapeutic Minecraft Group combines the creativity and engagement of Minecraft with evidence-based therapeutic support in a safe, supportive environment. Designed and facilitated by allied health professionals, this group helps children build social skills, communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence through collaborative gameplay and guided activities.

Participants work together on exciting Minecraft challenges while practicing real-world skills such as turn-taking, flexible thinking, coping with frustration, and positive peer interactions. Sessions are tailored to support each child’s individual goals in a fun and motivating way, making therapy feel natural and enjoyable.

This group is ideal for children who enjoy gaming and would benefit from support with social connection, emotional development, and building confidence alongside peers with similar interests.

Quest Seekers

Quest Seekers is our community access group designed to support children in building confidence, independence, and social connection through real-world experiences in the community. Guided by allied health professionals, children participate in fun group outings and activities while developing important life skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Through shared adventures such as visiting parks, cafés, shops, community spaces, and recreational activities, participants are supported to practice communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, problem-solving, safety awareness, and social interaction skills. Quest Seekers encourages children to explore new experiences, develop friendships, and build confidence navigating community environments alongside peers.

This group is ideal for children who would benefit from support with social participation, community engagement, independence, and confidence in everyday settings while having fun and connecting with others.
