About Betty
Betty is a Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has experience across a range of settings, including private practice, community mental health services and hospital settings. Betty enjoys working alongside children, adolescents and their families.
Betty tailors her interventions according to her client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness. She also enjoys incorporating Art and Play therapy into sessions.
Betty has a range of experience working with anxiety, stress, anger, depression, trauma, childhood behavioural problems, parenting, perinatal depression and anxiety: general life stress, and self-esteem.
Her approach is warm, interested, and empathetic. She provides a non-judgmental and relaxed space for you to discuss your concerns. Betty is interested in knowing what you want to achieve out of therapy, so she can offer strategies and skills to help in a meaningful and impactful way.
